Polestar is taking $25,000 off the sticker of a new 2026 Polestar 4 bought with cash, through November 30. If you finance through Polestar instead, the discount drops to $18,000 but comes with 0% APR for up to 60 months. Leasing gets $19,000, which Polestar’s advertised deal turns into $499 a month on a Dual Motor. All three require delivery by November 30, according to Polestar’s US offer page.
That is a large cut on a car that starts at $56,400 before destination. It puts a Long Range Single Motor, rated by the EPA at 310 miles, at about $32,800 for a cash buyer before tax and fees. The harder question is which of the three deals you should take, and the answer depends on what you would pay to borrow money elsewhere.
Polestar 4 prices after the November incentives
The table uses the trim prices Edmunds lists plus the $1,400 destination charge Polestar quotes in its lease terms. Tax, title, registration and dealer fees are extra in every column.
| Trim | MSRP + destination | Cash price ($25,000 off) | Financed at 0% ($18,000 off) | 60 payments at 0% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Long Range Single Motor | $57,800 | $32,800 | $39,800 | $663 |
| Long Range Single Motor Plus | $63,300 | $38,300 | $45,300 | $755 |
| Long Range Dual Motor | $64,300 | $39,300 | $46,300 | $772 |
| Long Range Dual Motor Plus | $69,800 | $44,800 | $51,800 | $863 |
Paint and options add to these numbers. Polestar’s own lease example uses a Dual Motor with metallic paint at $65,600 including destination. The Dual Motor Plus also carries a separate $1,700 bonus on inventory cars with Nappa leather, and current or former Polestar owners can add a $1,000 loyalty bonus.
Cash or 0% APR: the break-even rate
The finance deal gives up $7,000 of discount in exchange for free money. Whether that trade is worth it comes down to one number: the interest rate at which borrowing the cash price elsewhere for 60 months would cost exactly $7,000.
By our math, that break-even rate is about 7.9% on the Single Motor, 6.8% on the Single Motor Plus, 6.7% on the Dual Motor and 5.9% on the Dual Motor Plus. It falls on the pricier trims because the $7,000 gap stays the same while the loan gets bigger, so the interest on it grows.
Read it this way. If you can borrow below that rate from a bank or credit union, and the Polestar retailer treats an outside loan as a cash purchase, the $25,000 cash deal wins. If your best rate elsewhere is above it, Polestar’s 0% deal is cheaper. If you are paying from savings, compare the $7,000 against what that money would earn over five years if you left it invested and took the 0% loan.
Polestar’s terms say the $25,000 applies to purchases “with cash” and do not spell out how outside financing is handled. Ask the Polestar Space before you sign, because the answer decides which column of the table applies to you.
The $499 lease
Polestar’s advertised lease is $499 a month for 27 months on a Dual Motor with metallic paint, with $1,500 down and the $19,000 incentive applied. Due at signing is $1,999 ($1,500 down plus the first $499 payment) plus taxes and fees. Over the full term that works out to $14,973 in payments and down payment, or about $555 a month all-in, before tax.
The catch is the mileage. The lease allows 7,500 miles a year and charges $0.25 for every mile over. A driver who covers 12,000 miles a year would run about 10,000 miles over across 27 months, which adds roughly $2,500 at turn-in. If you drive that much, the lease stops looking cheap next to the cash or 0% options.
Single Motor vs Dual Motor at the discounted price
The Single Motor is the efficiency pick. The EPA rates the 2026 model at 310 miles and 35 kWh per 100 miles, against 280 miles and 40 kWh per 100 miles for the Dual Motor and 255 miles and 44 kWh per 100 miles for the Dual Motor with the Performance Pack (fueleconomy.gov). At $32,800 after the cash incentive, it is also the cheapest way into the car by a wide margin.
The Dual Motor makes sense if you want all-wheel drive for snow or more speed. Polestar quotes up to 400 kW (544 hp) and 0 to 60 mph in as little as 3.7 seconds for the quickest version. You give up 30 miles of EPA range for it, and about 14% more energy per mile.
The Plus trims add equipment rather than range. On a cash deal the Plus costs $5,500 more than the matching base trim, which is the same gap as before the incentive, since the $25,000 comes off every trim equally.
No rear window, 400 V charging and thin stock
There is no rear window. The Polestar 4 uses a camera-fed rearview mirror instead of a rear glass. Spend time with it on a test drive, especially at night and in rain, before you commit.
Charging is 400 V. Polestar lists up to 200 kW DC and 10 to 80% in about 30 minutes. That is competitive, but rivals built on 800 V platforms, such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, can be quicker on the right charger. Our 800-volt charging explainer covers why. Polestar says its cars work on CCS and NACS (Tesla Supercharger) stations, with the NACS adapter sold separately.
Supply is thin. Edmunds counted 77 new Polestar 4s in US inventory in its most recent check, with the Long Range Dual Motor the easiest to find. Polestar does not publish a number. With delivery required by November 30, the trim and color you want may simply not be available, so check stock at your nearest Polestar Space before you plan around a specific car.
Warranty. The Polestar 4 comes with a 4-year or 50,000-mile vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 100,000-mile battery warranty that covers capacity dropping below 70%, plus four years of roadside assistance.
Polestar is running the same $25,000 figure on the remaining 2025 Polestar 3 inventory this month, and that offer applies to leases and promotional financing as well as cash (Polestar 3 offers). Polestar says only a few remain. For more on how the brand got here, see our look at Polestar’s rise, fall and return in the US.
FAQ
Can I combine the $25,000 cash incentive with the 0% APR offer?
No. Polestar lists them as separate offers: $25,000 off for a cash purchase, or $18,000 off with 0% APR financing through Polestar Financial Services.
Do the Polestar 4 incentives stack with the loyalty bonus?
Polestar’s terms allow the $1,000 loyalty bonus on a lease or purchase of a new 2026 Polestar 4 for current and former Polestar owners and eligible household members. Confirm the final stack with the retailer, since one incentive applies per VIN for the loyalty program.
When does the Polestar 4 offer end?
The offers run November 3 to November 30, 2026, and the car must be delivered by November 30.
The cash deal is the cheapest path if you can borrow below the break-even rate for your trim or pay from savings, and the Single Motor at $32,800 is the strongest value in the lineup. Check the rate you can get, confirm how the retailer treats outside loans, and find the car in stock before November runs out.
