Rivian is financing selected 2026 R1T and R1S models at 1.99% APR for 60 months, for buyers who order and get an approved offer between October 1 and November 2, 2026, and who take delivery by November 30. The rate is on Rivian's October offer page. It is not a companywide EV deal, and it does not cover the R2.
The 1.99% offer applies to new 2026 R1T trucks and R1S SUVs in these configurations: Dual Standard, Dual with the Large battery, Dual with the Large battery and the Power Upgrade, Dual with the Max battery, Dual with the Max battery and the Power Upgrade, and Tri. The vehicle has to be ordered through the R1 Shop and financed through Rivian's approved lender. Rivian says very well qualified buyers can get as low as 1.99%, which works out to 60 payments of $17.54 for every $1,000 financed. Not everyone qualifies. Rivian says the actual rate can vary with credit, term, down payment, and amount financed, and that the amount financed cannot exceed the vehicle price.
Rivian's worked example is a 2026 R1T Dual Standard with 20-inch all-season wheels, LA Silver paint, and the Black Mountain interior. The vehicle price in the example is $74,885, including the $1,895 destination charge. With $500 down, which Rivian identifies as the order deposit, the amount financed is $74,385. At 1.99% for 60 months, the payment in the example is $1,304.55. Tax, title, license, and other fees are extra. That $500 is a deposit in the example, not a large down payment. A buyer who puts more money down would finance less. A buyer who cannot get the advertised credit tier does not get this payment.
Quad and 2027 are a different rate
The 2026 Quad is not in the 1.99% group. Rivian's Quad page offers as low as 3.99% APR for 60 months on new 2026 R1T and R1S Quad vehicles, on the same calendar: approval by November 2, delivery by November 30. The payment factor Rivian prints is $18.45 per $1,000 financed. The example is a 2026 R1T Quad, 22-inch Sport Bright wheels, LA Silver, Black Mountain interior, priced at $117,885 including destination. With the $500 deposit, $117,385 financed, the example payment is $2,164.84 before tax and fees.
The 2027 R1 page uses that same 3.99% and the same $18.45 per $1,000, on Premium, Premium with Power Upgrade, Premium Long Range, Premium Long Range with Power Upgrade, and Performance, for both the R1T and the R1S. The example is a 2027 R1T Premium at $81,885 including destination, $81,385 financed after the $500 deposit, and a payment of $1,500.92. The 2027 offer page, as written, does not list a Standard configuration.
None of these pages is the R2. Rivian's offers index is R1S and R1T only. Someone comparing a late-2026 R2 with a discounted R1 is looking at two different transactions. The R2's trim, price, and timing differences are in our Standard vs Premium vs Performance guide. The financing above does not transfer to the R2.
The offers also sit next to a delivery quarter Rivian has already reported. The company delivered 19,248 vehicles in the third quarter and kept its 2026 guidance, which we covered in the Q3 delivery note. The October rates are a price of money on specific R1 builds. They are not a new delivery figure, and they do not say how many of those third-quarter vehicles were R1s versus R2s.
The lease is a different kind of "offer"
Rivian's October lease page uses the same approval window and the same November 30 delivery deadline, for new 2026 and 2027 R1S and R1T vehicles. It is available only in select states. The page says to check state availability and does not list the states in the terms block.
The monthly figures are not a $0-down lease. Rivian's examples for a 2026 R1T or R1S Dual Standard are 36 payments of $989, with $8,884 due at signing, on a 10,000-mile-a-year lease. The due-at-signing description includes a $7,000 capitalized-cost reduction (which includes the $500 order deposit), the first month, and an $895 acquisition fee. Tax, title, license, registration, and documentation fees are extra. There is no security deposit. At the end, Rivian lists excess wear, $0.30 per mile over the allowance, and a $495 disposition fee.
On 2026 Large-battery and higher examples, Rivian shows a $1,500 lease bonus already reducing the amount due at signing. A 2026 R1T Dual with the Large battery is $1,199 a month with $7,594 due at signing in the example, after that bonus. A 2026 Tri Max R1T example is $1,649 a month. A 2026 Quad Max R1T example is $2,049 a month, and that Quad example does not mention the $1,500 bonus in the due-at-signing line.
The 2027 lease examples on the same page run from $1,199 a month for an R1T Premium, with $9,094 due at signing, up to $2,099 for an R1S Quad. Those 2027 examples do not mention a lease bonus. The miles, excess-mileage rate, and disposition fee match the 2026 terms.
What has to be true for the rate to apply
A few limits show up on every financing page. The buyer has to be a U.S. resident. The offer cannot be combined with other offers unless Rivian permits it. It can change or end without notice. It is void where prohibited. "As low as" is doing real work: the page says not all applicants will qualify, and the example payment is the qualified-tier case with Rivian's chosen configuration, not a quote.
