The 2027 Chevy Silverado EV trims run from $64,495 to $90,395 for retail buyers, including Chevy’s $2,595 destination charge, and the LT Extended Range at $72,695 is the one most buyers should price first. It gets the 410-mile battery class, 300 kW fast charging and access to the big Premium Package, for $8,200 more than the short-range LT.
Chevy trimmed the lineup for 2027. Last year’s 10 configurations are down to seven: the LT Max Range and both RST versions are gone. Regular production started around Oct. 12 at Factory Zero in Detroit, GM Authority reported, and every 2027 truck now has a NACS charging port for Tesla Superchargers.
2027 Silverado EV configurations, prices and range
Prices are from Chevy’s online configurator on Oct. 30 and include destination. Chevy hasn’t published 2027 EPA range yet; its compare page lists range as TBD. The range figures below are the EPA ratings for the 2026 trucks with the same battery, except the Trail Boss Max, where Chevy gives its own 478-mile estimate. Price per mile of range is our math, MSRP before destination divided by range.
| Configuration | Price with destination | Range | Peak DC charging | Output | Price per mile of range (EM math) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LT Standard Range | $64,495 | 283 mi (2026 EPA) | 220 kW | 605 hp, 605 lb-ft | $219 |
| LT Extended Range | $72,695 | 410 mi (2026 EPA) | 300 kW | 645 hp, 765 lb-ft | $171 |
| Trail Boss Extended Range | $73,595 | 410 mi (2026 EPA) | 300 kW | 625 hp, 775 lb-ft | $173 |
| Trail Boss Max Range | $90,395 | 478 mi (GM est.) | 350 kW | 725 hp, 775 lb-ft | $184 |
| WT Standard Range | $56,095 | 286 mi (2026 EPA) | 220 kW | 510 hp, 490 lb-ft | $187 |
| WT Extended Range (fleet) | $71,895 | 424 mi (2026 EPA) | 300 kW | 510 hp, 580 lb-ft | $163 |
| WT Max Range (fleet) | $86,995 | 493 mi (2026 EPA) | 350 kW | 510 hp, 580 lb-ft | $171 |
The 410-mile Extended Range figure is the 2026 EPA rating for trucks with the standard 11 kW onboard charger. The EPA rated 2026 Extended Range trucks with the 19.2 kW charger at 385 miles, and it doesn’t list the Trail Boss separately, so expect a Trail Boss Extended Range to land somewhere in that 385 to 410 range until 2027 ratings post.
Every Silverado EV is a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive crew cab with a 5-foot-11 bed. Peak output on the LT and Trail Boss comes in Wide Open Watts mode; the WT figures are in Tow/Haul mode, according to the GM-Trucks.com order guide. Chevy lists up to 750 hp for the Trail Boss, a short-burst figure; Car and Driver puts the Trail Boss Max Range at 725 hp, rising to 750 with the boost feature. Chevy rates the truck to tow up to 12,500 pounds with the bigger batteries.
The three WT trucks are mostly for businesses. GM Authority reports the WT Extended and Max Range are fleet and government orders only, and the WT Standard Range was pulled from retail ordering, even though Chevy’s retail configurator still listed it at $56,095 on Oct. 30. If you want the cheapest Silverado EV, ask a dealer whether it can still order one.
Which Silverado EV to buy
LT Extended Range ($72,695). This is the best mix of range, charging and price for a personal truck. It has the lowest price per mile of the retail trucks and charges at up to 300 kW. In Car and Driver’s 75-mph highway test, the LT Extended Range went 310 miles, a better guide to highway trips than the EPA number. It’s also the only LT that can take the $11,500 Premium Package, which brings the nicer interior and more driver-assist features. GM Authority notes that price already includes a $3,505 package discount.
Trail Boss Extended Range ($73,595). For $900 more than the LT Extended Range you get a 2-inch lift, 35-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels, four-wheel steering and the diagonal Sidewinder crab-walk mode as standard. If you leave pavement at all, this is the better buy. Its Premium Package is $10,600.
Trail Boss Max Range ($90,395). Buy this one for towing or long highway days. It has the biggest battery, 800-volt charging at up to 350 kW and the Premium Package standard. It costs $16,800 more than the Trail Boss Extended Range, and $10,600 of that is the Premium Package you would otherwise add. The rest buys about 70 more miles of range and faster charging.
LT Standard Range ($64,495). At 283 EPA miles, and less with a trailer, this works for local driving with home charging. It has the highest price per mile in the lineup and the slowest charging, and the $8,200 step to the Extended Range buys about 127 more miles.
Option and accessory prices
GM Authority lists these 2027 option and dealer-accessory prices:
| Option | Price |
|---|---|
| Premium Package (LT Ext / Trail Boss Ext) | $11,500 / $10,600 |
| Plus Package | $3,770 |
| Panoramic glass roof (LT Ext, Trail Boss) | $1,500 |
| Trailer View camera | $695 |
| Super Cruise, 8-year extension | $3,000 |
| PowerShift home charger | $1,999 |
| J1772 and CCS1 adapter package (dealer) | $398 |
Chevy also lists a Premium Charging Package at $2,513, according to GM Authority. Heated front seats are now standard on the WT.
Charging and NACS
The 2027 Silverado EV has a NACS port, so it plugs straight into Tesla Superchargers without an adapter. For the older plugs you’ll need adapters, which GM Authority lists as dealer accessories: $99 for the J1772 Level 2 adapter, $299 for the CCS1 fast-charging adapter, or $398 for both. Ask the dealer to include them in the deal.
Fast-charging speed depends on the battery. The Standard Range charges at up to 220 kW, the Extended Range at up to 300 kW, and the Max Range runs at 800 volts and takes up to 350 kW. Chevy estimates the Max Range adds up to 124 miles in 10 minutes on a 350 kW charger. GM’s 2026 spec guide gave 74 and 111 miles in 10 minutes for the smaller packs. Our 800-volt charging explainer covers why voltage matters and why a very large battery still takes a while.
The truck also works as a power source. Chevy lists up to 11 outlets and up to 10.2 kW of offboard power, enough to run tools on a job site.
New camera features
The 2027 trucks get an interior camera as standard. GM Authority reports it enables Cabin Glance and Security Recording. The Surround Vision Recorder saves exterior camera footage to a USB drive you supply. The Trailer View camera, a $695 option, puts a view of the trailer on the screen.
Where this leaves the Silverado EV
GM’s EV sales fell hard in the third quarter, as we covered in our Q3 US EV sales report, and a shorter lineup is part of GM’s response. Cheaper batteries are coming, starting with the LMR cells in GM’s fourth-generation EV platform, but not on this truck for 2027. For now, an LT or Trail Boss Extended Range is the Silverado EV to buy.
